PT Link Net unveils OTT video service First Media Go

Indonesian cable TV operator PT Link Net Tbk has teamed up with NAGRA to launch a TV everywhere service under its First Media brand.

First Media Go will provide 120 simulcast linear TV channels, catch-up TV, personal video recording, video-on-demand (VOD), video streaming and games across a range of connected devices through a set-top box (STB).

"Demand for Internet-connected services in Indonesia is growing as consumers want to be able to enjoy content in a way that fits their lifestyle as a result, the ability to deliver a robust multiscreen TV offering is a key differentiator for us," said Richard Kartawijaya, CEO, Link Net.

"We chose NAGRA to help us in this endeavour because of their ability to deliver solutions that could integrate seamlessly within our current environment and of course, for their longstanding digital TV expertise."
