Telefe's second-screen app on the up

Following the announcement last week that the Mi Telefe app achieved top position in both the Apple Store and Google Play, the TV everywhere and video-on-demand (VOD) platform, powered by Applicaster, continues to strengthen its position among social TV users.

The app delivers second-screen interactive activities synced with live TV alongside an extensive VOD library containing popular TV formats and shows.

With good figures recently announced for Elegidos – the Argentinean version of Telefe's Rising Star talent show – Applicaster believes that live audience participation creates a stronger connection between viewer and content. The app also offers Applicaster's live drawer component, which enables users to access more than one live channel at a time.
