OSN strengthens ties with CNBC

Middle East pay-TV operator OSN has renewed its distribution deal with business and financial news network CNBC.
OSN strengthens partnership with CNBCThe deal also brings CNBC's international news content to OSN's online platform OSN Play.
"Having built our credentials as the home of premium entertainment, we have built a strong news portfolio in which CNBC has a central position. By adding CNBC content to OSN Play in the near future, our subscribers will soon also have the opportunity to stay connected with the international business world on-the-go and anytime, anywhere," said Emad Marcos, senior vice president, media partners and digital, OSN.
Jacqueline Lam, vice president of international distribution at CNBC www.cnbc.com, added: "Our agreement with OSN enables viewers across the MENA to watch the latest global business news and analysis, and access CNBC's real-time data. This cements CNBC's position as the premier provider of English language business programming in the region."
The channel says it is continuing to expand its coverage of financial and business stories from within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
OSN also offers Bloomberg, Sky News, CNN, Fox News, BBC World and OSN News to subscribers across MENA.
