Qatar's state telecommunications operator Ooredoo claims its IPTV video-on-demand service Mozaic is now nearing 50,000 views a month following a 'sharp rise' in take-up this year.
Ooredoo plans to develop the service to allow subscribers to purchase content to view on any of their digital devices using Mozaic TV's catch-up application, Mozaic Go.
The VOD service provides a large library of Hollywood, Bollywood and Arabic films, with many – such as The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water – available shortly after their cinema release. The movie list is refreshed each week and includes a mix of new releases, classics and HD titles.
