Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood moves into LATAM for second series

The second series of the award winning preschool series Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood has been licensed to Disney Junior Latin America by 9 Story Media Group.

Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood offers engaging storylines modelling the core skills that form the foundation of early childhood development and school readiness. Daniel is a shy but brave four-year-old tiger who lives in the beloved Neighbourhood of Make Believe and with the help of his neighbours, family and friends – O the Owl, Prince Wednesday, Miss Elaina and Katerina Kittycat, he learns valuable lessons that prepare him for school and life.

The first season premiered on the Latin American network in 2013.

The series launched in 2012 on PBS KIDS in the US and CBC in Canada. It has also been licensed to SRC (French Canada), ABC (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), Canal+ Family (France), France Télévisions, Super RTL (Germany), YLE (Finland), NRK (Norway), SVT (Sweden), Luk International (Spain and Portugal), Hop TV (Israel), Zee Learn (Indian Subcontinent), E Junior (Middle East), True Visions (Thailand) and Minika (Turkey).

Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood is the winner of multiple awards including the 2014 Shaw Rocket Prize, a 2015 Parent's Choice Award, Best Preschool Animated Series at the 2013 Kidscreen Awards and the 2013 Cynopsis Kids !magination Award for Best Preschool Series.

The series is co-produced and distributed by 9 Story Media Group and The Fred Rogers Company.
