In addition to pay-TV, fixed and mobile lines with voice and data, and the Internet, Telefónica has added security services to its home offer, offering the first real quintuple-play package in Spain running on 4G and fibre networks, and bringing the Internet of Things (IoT) into commercial reality.

Movistar VeriSure Hogar offers customers smarter security for their homes with a 24-hour, 365-day emergency service, access control and video cameras with remote recording. It will be available exclusively for customers with Movistar broadband from 17 June at a price of €25 a month (€16 for the service and €9 for the equipment rental). Users can install it themselves and self-manage the service via an application on their smartphones.

Telefónica's quintuple-play service has been developed together with Securitas Direct, and aims to offer customers a product at the forefront of technology. Both companies are also working on launching new added-value digital services into the market in future.

The Movistar VeriSure Hogar package includes the ability to control authorised and unauthorised home access, video cameras, an immediate response service for emergencies and remote access controlled via an app installed on the user's smartphone.

Movistar VeriSure Hogar consists of a central unit, an inhibition detector, a door sensor, an FHD camera with remote recording, two key ring remote controls, and a deterrent plate.
