nowTV acquires Copa América 2015 rights

Hong Kong's nowTV has won the broadcast rights to show live TV matches in high definition (HD) from the prestigious football tournament, Copa América 2015.
The deal between the PCCW-operated pay-TV platform and Asian rights holder MP & Silva spans all 26 matches of the competition, which pits the best national teams of South American against each other from 12 June to 5 July 2015.
Brazil and Argentina – and among them their Barcelona strike force Neymar Jr and Lionel Messi – will be among the teams battling to wrestle the cup from current holders Uruguay.
Edison Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain, Columbian James Rodriguez of Real Madrid, and Chile's Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal will also be playing in the tournament.

Customers of nowTV can subscribe to a Copa América Event Pass for HK$300 which will enable them to watch all 26 matches in HD, on-demand, and everywhere via the now Player app.
