Cirkus, the on demand provider based around British television content, is launching in Iceland at the end of June.

Its signed a deal with leading mobile and IPTV provider Vodafone Iceland. The company is currently developing its cross-platform video services under the Vodafone Play brand.

Mark Bradford, co-founder and director said: This is another important step forward for Cirkus in the Nordic market and were delighted to partner with Vodafone to add Iceland to the growing number of countries that enjoy our service.

Cirkus has long-term access to programming from the UKs two largest broadcasters ITV and the BBC as well as the UKs largest independent production company All3Media. Its recently acquired the rights to the BBCs Sunday night hit Poldark (pictured).
