LAMAC appoints new business development VP

The Latin American Multichannel Advertising Council (LAMAC) has appointed Lynette Pinto as its new vice president of business development, aiming to strengthen pay-TV business across Latin America and the Hispanic market.

lynetteWith 33 years of experience in marketing, advertising and business development, Lynette Pinto has worked for companies including Publicidad Siboney, Kraft General Foods, AT&T, Telemundo Group and NBC Universal TV Networks Distribution, serving the last two companies as marketing VP.

"Lynette's incorporation to LAMAC represents a significant step in the business development strategy of the organisation," commented Gary McBride, president & CEO of LAMAC. "Lynette has a deep understanding of how the advertising business works. Her experience working in Siboney, Kraft, Telemundo and NBC Universal provided her with a broad knowledge of the different angles of media planning and buying and this is a fact that LAMAC understands as her biggest potential to strengthen the pay-TV business in the region."
