YipTV inks content deal with Alterna'TV

Alterna'TV, a subsidiary of Eutelsat Americas, has secured a multiple channel carriage agreement with YipTV, a Hispanic-focused over-the-top (OTT) service.
Alterna'TV will provide YipTV with international feeds from general entertainment channels Canal 22 Internacional, Canal Once Mexico, CB Tu Television Michoacan and Telemicro as well as feeds of extreme sports channel PX TV, Trace Sports Stars, Latin American Sports and AYM Sports and children's entertainment channel Fix & Foxi.
"YipTV is committed to delivering an affordable, high-quality entertainment experience to our subscribers, offering a diverse assortment of domestic and international channels in a variety of languages," explained YipTV vice president of content acquisition, Victor Iasprizza. "Alterna'TV represents many of the leading networks from Mexico and South America as well as popular sports channels, all of which are very attractive to our subscribers."
