Fox bolsters Chinese blockbuster library for SCM

Fox has bought the TV and digital media rights for three films from Chinese studio Enlight Pictures, to air on SCM, video-on-demand and catch-up services following their cinema release in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
SCM Hollywood AdventuresThe films include action-comedy film Hollywood Adventures (橫衝直撞荷里活), written and produced by Hollywood executive Justin Lin, who was also behind blockbusters such as the Fast & Furious franchise and Star Trek 3. The film boasts stars Zhao Wei (趙薇), Huang Xiaoming (黃曉明) and Tong Dawei (佟大為).
The other two movies are the coming-of-age film The Left Ear (左耳), based on the novel by Rao Zueman and staring Chen Turin (陳都靈) and Oho Ou (歐豪); and comedy Lost in Hong Kong (港囧), which also stars Zhao Wei (趙薇) together with Xu Zheng (徐峥), who is also the director of the film.
