Having relaunched Boomerang in Argentina during the last quarter of 2014 with a new image and refreshed line-up, Turner Broadcasting is reporting the channel's consolidation in the pay-TV market and new advertising opportunities with younger and family audiences.

According to IBOPE ratings reported by Rutner, the average audience figures had grown by 520% by the end of Q1 2015. There was similar growth in audience shares, as Boomerang increased its share by 15% among kids channels.
Boomerang's programming includes content from Warner Bros, Hanna-Barbera, Cartoon Networks and MGM, airing classic series like Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny and Scooby-Doo together with current productions like Lazy Town, Masha and the Oddbods.
Turner claims to be opening a larger window for advertisers directly focused on families and kids, as Boomerang grows and Cartoon Network already enjoys a stable position in Argentina.
“With over 250 million subs around the globe, Turner's kids portfolio with channels like Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Tooncast is the perfect space for brands to speak to the younger audience segments,” said Bernardo Benedit, VP for advertising sales at Turner Broadcasting System Latin America.
