Starz has launched its authenticated online TV everywhere service on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.

Starz PLAY offers more than 450 monthly selections, including 300 movies comprising first-run films from Disney (Guardians of the Galaxy, Big Hero 6, Frozen, Monsters University) and Sony (22 Jump Street, The Equalizer, Fury, Think Like a Man Too) and other films, and more than 150 episodes of STARZ Original series, including Power, Outlander, Survivor's Remorse, Black Sails and Spartacus.

Playlist functionality allows the user to add movies or series to their Play List to watch later or seamlessly pick up from where they left off in watching a movie or TV show on any registered device in the account. Additionally, STARZ PLAY subscribers can view a live stream of the STARZ premium channel on any PC or Mac.

The premium cable net's two other TVE apps, Encore Play and Movieplex Play, are not covered by the deal—yet. For now, they're offered on Web browsers, iOS and Android devices, the Kindle Fire, Nook tablets, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and via the Chromecast.

Amazon's Fire TV platform also offers rival network TVE apps, including HBO Go and Showtime Anytime.
