Content from Brazil's Rede Record is now available on the network's newly launched R7 Play video-on-demand (VOD) platform, targeting multiscreen viewers.

The platform has been created as a premium channel on YouTube and is available for free for the first two weeks.

Brazilian subscribers are able to watch the Rede Record content on smartphones, tablets and computers, anywhere and at any time, by paying $3.50 a month. Initially allowed unlimited connected devices per account, viewers have access to productions including news, sports programming, shows, films and series.

"R7 Play is an excellent opportunity not only to bring our content to the multiscreen market but to launch a great distribution channel for transmedia content," said Antonio Guerreiro, new media director at Rede Record.
