Singapore MediaCorp selects for current affairs show

Singapore's live current affairs TV show Talking Point on Channel 5 has adopted's social content aggregator platform STORY.

The weekly topical news programme, broadcast in English every Tuesday evening, has studio guests with host Steven Chia and audience interaction via call-ins, texts and emails.

The multi-channel and instant social monitoring capacity of's STORY 1.6 social content application enables views and opinions to be easily incorporated – via snap polls, graphs, and comment captions – into the show's studio debates from across social media networks.

"Using a new social TV platform enables us even greater control of gathering, managing and publishing social content on air. Social is a key element of Talking Point, driving the show's content and discussions. Allowing viewers to have their voices heard greatly enhances the show by providing insights into what topics are important and popular amongst Singaporeans," said Yvonne Lim, executive producer, Talking Point.
