Popcornflix has added additional programmes to its documentary library, from National Geographic, BBC, Discovery and Channel 4.

Among the newly available shows and films on the OTT service are: wildlife and travel programmes, including Untamed with Davey Hughes, and the Wildest series; adrenaline-packed looks into the daily duties of law enforcement and elite military units in Road Cops and Commandos; Family Confidential with Miranda Kerr and Hugh Jackman; and in-depth documentaries uncovering untold stories of history, including War Horse: The Real Story and Operation Valkyrie.

This new programming will be available on Popcornflix through agreements with TVF International and Looking Glass International.

"With the success of our National Geographic genre, we were eager to bring our audience even more exciting documentaries," said David Fannon, EVP at Popcornflix. "There is something universally appealing about an unfiltered look into the world around us, introducing us to places and people outside of our day-to-day experience."
