Erin Krozek, formerly a producer for National Geographic Studios, has been promoted to director of development for the company.
Krozek will be responsible for providing day-to-day creative leadership and project management for the entire programme development process for scripted and non-scripted series produced by National Geographic Studios. She will cultivate relationships with agents, content commissioners, network executives and talent around which National Geographic Studios can build shows.
Krozek, who is based in New York, will also serve as the main liaison with the National Geographic Channel and with external network clients on projects in development.
"Erin is a strong creative executive who has a great sense for finding compelling stories and concepts. She has made a significant impact on National Geographic Studios' development efforts, and I'm looking forward to her bringing her impressive skill set to bear in this new leadership role," said Jeff Hasler, National Geographic Studios' executive vice president of production & development.
Before joining National Geographic Studios in 2013, Krozek worked in development at BBC Worldwide. Previously, she produced series and content — including the monster hit Duck Dynasty — for networks including A&E, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Spike TV and Animal Planet.
