Kino Polska TV plans to take part in a tender for four channels to be distributed by Polandís eighth multiplex.

Quoted by Wirtualne Media, its president Boguslaw Kisielewski said that this would be in line with its previously announced plans of developing terrestrial channels by participating competitions organised by the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT).

In each instance, it would study the terms and decide whether to apply with existing or new channels.

The KRRiT announced the latest tender on August 4.

Kino Polska TV, which is majority (66%) owned by SPI International, already has a growing portfolio of channels, including some FilmBox services, and holds a 41% stake in Stopklatka TV, which is distributed on Polandís first DTT multiplex (MUX-8).
