Prime time American series are driving audience figures for Sony's AXN across Latin America, as it reports being the fastest growing network in the region among young audience segments during Q2 2015.

axnQuoting IBOPE figures, AXN says it has grown over 20% regarding viewers between 18-49, becoming the fifth most watched pay-TV signal in Latin America. In addition, during the last nine months, the network reports a 73% growth in the same demographic group and is up 81% with those aged 25-49.

And the network's executives point to a single reason behind this success: content. New series like CSI: Cyber and Scorpion have quickly become a part of the audience's favourites, and are AXN's first and second most watched shows among Spanish-speakers in the 2015/2015 season.

In addition to these, AXN's line-up includes CSI, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Castle, Hannibal and Crossing Lines.

The network, programmed by Sony Pictures Television Networks Latin America delivers content to over 48 million subscribers across 26 markets in the region.
