ESPN is the most social TV network

When it comes to social TV interactions in the US, ESPN, led by the programme SportsCenter, ranks No 1, with 66.7 million total actions across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

According to research from Shareablee, Telemundo ranked No 1 on Facebook with 56.5 million actions, ABC ranked was first on YouTube with 822.2 thousand actions, and ESPN ranked top on Twitter and Instagram with 8.6 and 31.8 million actions, respectively.

FOX News won the news category with 38.3 million actions. FX grew 122%, the largest growth in the TV Network category during the month of July, driven by American Horror Story's social promotion of its upcoming season. And ABC captured the most social amplification of any TV network with nearly ten million shares and re-tweets on Facebook and Twitter.

The social TV also found that the top five TV shows by engagement were: SportsCenter, ESPN (36.4 million actions), Pretty Little Liars, ABC Family (23.6 million actions), Teen Wolf, MTV (12 million actions), El Senor de los Cielos, Telemundo (11.6 million actions), Good Morning America, ABC (10.9 million actions).
