Vivendi says that it now controls 93.6% in French paycaster Canal+ after a successful tender offer.

A total of 57,220,114 shares in Société d’Edition de Canal Plus, representing 45.2% of the share capital and voting rights of the company, were tendered in the offer that expired on August 12.

Vivendi already held 48.5% through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Canal+ Group.
