BBC Worldwide Latin America and Turner Broadcasting System Latin America, have announced a distribution agreement to take The Honourable Woman to TNT Series throughout Latin America, premiering on 22 August and targeting 33 million homes across the region.

Written and directed by BAFTA-awarded Hugo Blick, and starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, the series focuses on the Palestinian conflict and the roles of the UK and its intelligence service.

"The Honourable Woman is one of the most applauded dramas of 2014, recognised for its brilliant cast and thought-provoking narrative," said Anna Gordon, executive VP, BBC Worldwide for Latin America and US Hispanics. "The series exemplifies the premium British content that BBC Worldwide has built a reputation for offering, and we are thrilled to be extending this offering to the TNT Series audience in Latin America."

"When they offered us this series, I didn't have any doubt it would reinforce TNT Series' catalogue," added Mariano César, programming VP at TNT and TNT Series Latin America.

The series will be included in TNT Series' three Latin American feeds: TNT Sur (Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay), Pan-regional (the rest of Spanish-speaking territories), and Brazil.
