IPTV platform provider Vodafone Portugal has inked a deal with SPI International to screen FightBox HD and Fast’nFunBox HD channels on its TV Net Voz service.

FightBox HD is a 24-hour combat sports channel encompassing MMA, boxing, arm wrestling and sumo. It claims to offer the finest combat sports from around the globe all on one channel with live broadcast of major MMA and kickboxing events from Central and Eastern Europe.

For its part Fast’nFunBox HD shows car racing, motocross, surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, bouldering, BMX, FMX, skydiving, base jumping and much more.

“We appreciate the fast pace with which we have been introducing our premium channels to Vodafone customers in Portugal,” said Berk Uziyel, executive director at Filmbox International. “Only a few weeks ago we launched a test version of FunBox 4K/UHD on the TV Net Voz platform and now two more channels from our portfolio are part of the offer. We are excited to see how our channels perform in the Portuguese market.”

The FilmBox brand channels are distributed by Filmbox International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kino Polska TV whose majority stakeholder is SPI International BV.
