IBC 2015: Xstream, XroadMedia cross paths to provide OTT personalisation

Over-the-top platform provider Xstream and content discovery, recommendation and targeting services specialist XroadMedia have entered a strategic partnership agreement to deliver OTT personalisation.

The partners believe that their partnership will enable operators across the world to increase customers’ end-users’ satisfaction and reduce churn.

The deal will see Ncanto, XroadMedia’s cloud-based content discovery solution, work with the Xstream MediaMaker over the top and TV everywhere platform so that content owners and service providers can fully understand their customer’s habits. This will also enable them to deliver personalised and future-proof OTT solutions as well as effectively align their service offerings and monetisation strategies.
