beIN SPORTS La Liga coverage out-scores EPL with Real Madrid, Barça

beIN SPORTS is continuing to see football success in the States: it delivered an average of 593,000 total viewers across both English and Spanish language cable networks with its broadcast of the La Liga match between Real Madrid and Betis on 29 August.

According to Nielsen Media Research on pay-TV ratings, the network also saw success with the Barcelona vs. Malaga match, which aired on the same day and delivered an average of 537,000 total viewers across both networks.

The two La Liga matches on beIN SPORTS out-delivered three of the English Premier League matches that aired on both NBC SPORTS and NBC Universo for the week.

The top telecast for the week, the Arsenal vs. Liverpool Monday night match, delivered a cumulative audience of 502,000 on NBC Sports and NBC Universo, while the next highest matches, Newcastle vs. Arsenal, delivered an average of 446,000 total viewers and Manchester City vs. Watford, an average of 460,000
