OSN will be home to the Rugby World Cup in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) during the tournament, which kicks off in England on 18 September.

The pay-TV operator's channel OSN Sports 1 HD will provide live and exclusive coverage of all 48 matches in rugby union's flagship event.

"Rugby was first brought to the region by OSN and we are delighted to again bring this prestigious tournament to the screens of millions of our viewers who have been waiting in anticipation for the action to begin. We have assembled a fantastic team of experts consisting of World Cup-winners and legends of rugby from the northern and southern hemispheres who will supply our viewers with fascinating insights, top-notch pre and post-match analysis," said Andy Warkman, vice president sport and production, OSN.

Coverage will be presented by Jim Rosenthal, joined by pundits including England's Jeremy Guscott and Wales' Scott Gibbs, South African Rugby World Cup-winning coach Jake White, New Zealand's open side flanker Josh Kronfeld, 1999 Rugby World Cup-winner Australian Joe Roff and 1995 Rugby World Cup-winner South African Joel Stransky.

The Rugby World Cup stages and quarter finals will be covered from OSN's new studios in Dubai Media City. However, for the semi-finals and final on 31 October the entire team will be pitch-side at Twickenham Stadium, London.
