Poland’s leading cable operator UPC Polska will end 2015 with around 180,000 more subscribers than a year earlier, according to its head Ramiro Lafarga.

This, he added, will be a six-fold increase on the 30,000+ new customers it has on average acquired each year.

Lafarga’s prediction came as UPC Polska announced plans to expand its services to the city of Tarnów, in the south east of the country, later this year.

In addition, it will move into the whole Pokarpacie region, also in the south east of the country, with the city of Rzeszów receiving services from this autumn.

UPC Polska currently provides services to over 2.8 million homes in over 140 cities throughout Poland.
