IBC 2015: Ooyala makes ode to joiz

In a bid to enhance online video and advertising solutions with the ability to power social TV channels, Ooyala has announced a strategic partnership with joiz.
Based in Switzerland, the joiz community marketing platform offers, analytics, gamification capabilities, loyalty programs, e-commerce and social TV capabilities, joiz boosts audience retention and ad campaign revenues through its cloud-based solution. The company already uses Ooyala's video and ad tech offerings including end-to-end video management, delivery, analytics and ad serving capabilities.
Under the terms of the new deal, Ooyala believes that joiz channels can further build, maintain and monetise audiences with personalised content recommendations and drive higher CPMs across inventory, giving a clear data-driven strategy that leads directly to increased revenue. Ooyala will also offer video and advertising solutions for two social TV channels, boosting content recommendations and personalisation and ad management.
