IBC 2015: Netgem, Alsatis, Videofutur team for fibre TV service

Multiscreen technology firm Netgem has entered a partnership with French operator Alsatis and content company Videofutur for a new fibre optic film and TV service.

The offering is designed to bring at speeds of up to 200 Mbps, TV services such as multicast bouquets, premium unicast channels, *** TVOD, subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) EST, replay services, content apps and other multiscreen experiences.

"Netgem's ambition is to provide an offer of content and services that match the speed of light potential of FTTH," said deputy chief executive officer Mathias Hautefort. "We believe our #TelcoTV will act as a catalysis for the development of very high speed solutions offered by local providers and managers of public networks."
