SKY Mexico, Central America adds Stingray's music portfolio

Televisa-operated pay-TV provider SKY will add Stingray's music channels portfolio to its Mexican, Central American and Caribbean feeds, including its mobile services and Web player.
stingrayThe newly launched pay-TV network TVStingray Concerts, over 50 music channels, the Stingray Music app and Stingray Web Player will be available for SKY subs across the selected regions. From the end of September, the music portfolio will be broadcast in Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras and the Dominican Republic.
"These new services offer SKY subs in Mexico and Central America a more varied musical universe with high quality content," said Erik Boyko, president, founder, Stingray Digital. "In addition, we'll take with us tools like the mobile app and the Web player so subscribers can enjoy their favourite music anywhere, at any time".
Nine months ago, with the launch of its first three pay-TV channels in Latin America, the Canadian music distributor added video to its audio offer. With an HD and SD signal, Stingray Concerts provides pay-TV operators with live concerts, news and videos.
