FOX lands in Belgium

Making a big splash in the Low Countries, the flagship entertainment network FOX has arrived in Belgium with Telenet.
FOX is available in 126 countries across Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia. The launch in Belgium extends the offer of Fox International Channels (FIC) to the general entertainment space, and grows the group's portfolio in the market beyond the existing National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild offer.
As with all FOX channels worldwide, Fox Belgium will deliver Hollywood entertainment and leading global TV shows as well as broadcasting locally relevant bespoke programming for the market.
The new Flemish pay-TV channel new will premiere on 1 October with season six of the global hit series The Walking Dead, available to all Telenet Digital TV basic package customers. Additionally, customers of Telenet's entertainment package Play More will be able to access series box sets of previous seasons and catch-up on current episodes.
The channel's slate will also include FIC's major franchises, including Da Vinci's Demons, The Flash, comedy series The Mindy Project, Episodes starring Matt LeBlanc, and Scandinavian dramas 1864, Blue Eyes and Heavy Water War.
