Wuaki.tv lands on Hisense smart TVs

The Rakuten-owned video-on-demand (VOD) platform Wuaki.tv is launching a smart TV app in Spain for the new VIDAA Hisense screens.
wuakihisenseManufacturer Hisense is aiming to conquer the Spanish market – it is predicted to reach similar sales as Samsung and LG in a few years – and Wuaki.tv intends to become an established platform for smart TVs, as it expands throughout Europe.
Hisense's K321U, K700, K720 and XT910 series will have a Wuaki.tv app pre-installed, enabling subscribers to rent or buy VOD and streaming content.
In addition, viewers buying VIDAA screens will get a two-month free subscription to the Spanish on-demand platform.
