Keshet International has reached a co-development agreement for local entertainment formats with Argentina's Telefe, following the success of Rising Star and Boom! adaptations.

Both companies aim to develop two pilots a year for initial broadcast in the creators' territories, with some projects already underway. Keshet will retain distribution rights for the resulting properties worldwide under the deal which was brokered by the company's sales director for the region, Kelly Wright.

"We are very happy to be working with Keshet, which continues to demonstrate the highest standards of innovation in entertainment television year after year," commented Tomas Yankelevich, global content & international business director, Telefe. "We embark on this exciting challenge, which will allow us to work on new content with international reach, with great enthusiasm."

"Having worked with Telefe on Elegidos (Rising Star's adaptation) we encountered an enthusiastic, creative team with exceptional drive and skill," added Wright. "Tomas Yankelevich has a world-class understanding of entertainment and leads a talented group of experienced producers. We're delighted to be working with this brilliant team over the long term."
