Clarovideo ramps up marketing for new Star Wars film

Expanding its Star Wars content deal, América Móvil's over-the-top (OTT) platform Claro video is to air five movies from the science-fiction saga in a warm-up to the premiere of the seventh film, The Force Awakens.
starwars1During October, Claro video will premiere Episode I, II and III - The Phantom Menace, The Clone Wars and The Revenge of the Sith - and two of the three original films, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi.
Following an agreement with Disney, Claro video will also air the documentary Empire of Dreams: The Story of the Star Wars Trilogy, which analyses the secrets of the first three movies, the animation series Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion and the short films Star Wars Rebels Shorts, which has already been broadcast on the platform.
In addition, the Claro platform will air Science of Star Wars, The Man and Machine, the kids' series Disney Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars and the documentary The Legacy Revealed, about the impact of the original first movie in 1977 on society and cinema.
The content will be available for mobile and connected devices in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic.
