Mediapro taps Ultra HD for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

For the third year in a row, Mediapro has produced the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (MBFWM), this year selecting 4K technology to film the catwalk.

Having been a partner of Madrid's exhibition hall, IFEMA, since 2013, Mediapro filmed and produced audiovisual content from the event and broadcast it live through an online streaming platform for computers and mobile screens. In total, Mediapro created over ten hours of programming each day during the week-long event.

This year the Barcelona-based production house employed a 4K camera to film the catwalks during one of the days, the clips of which were broadcast and will be used for the fashion week's promotional video.

Mediapro and IFEMA have also announced that the company will be producing Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid's next edition, to be held in February 2016.
