Viva brings icflix VOD to customers in Bahrain

Middle East online video service icflix has teamed up with Bahrain telecommunications company VIVA to offer its customers streamed content on up to five digital devices.

TV arabic 2icflix' video-on-demand (VOD) service delivers Arabic, Bollywood and Hollywood films, TV shows, cartoons and documentaries, and is available to VIVA customers for BD3 per month, although the content will be available without charge for the first month.

"Audiences in the Kingdom of Bahrain will enjoy an exciting, everywhere viewing experience through a simple subscription process straight from their mobile phone. This is great news for those who especially enjoy watching movies and TV series on the go on their smart phones or tablets" said Carlos Tibi, founder and CEO, icflix.

Andrew Hanna, VIVA Bahrain's chief commercial officer, added: "With this value-added service our customers can enjoy streaming their favourite content having the freedom to choose when, where and how they watch their favourite movies and TV series".

Subtitles and alternate audio options are available on all icflix titles to cater for Arabic, French and English speakers across the region.

VIVA customers will be charged for an icflix subscription via their post-paid bill or pre-paid credit.
