    If you want a decent Vu+ box with multiple tuners, I'd suggest you to get a Vu+ Uno 4K with a FBC (full band capture) DVB-C tuner.
    It would allow you to record up to 8 different transponders/muxes, so that's a lot of channels :p

    You're always using SCART !!!

    Prefer to buy a new TV instead a DVB-C box...

    A simple Chinese cable box could give you pictures on your old screen.

    A 4K box need a good screen to enjoy.

    SCART Connection can also support HD signals like 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p

    Here is specification for Vu models:

    Re: Best box for DVB-C in switzerland

    The question of my last post is for suggest you by the polite way, one thing.
    I am not Cresus, and I need to count each coin I spend.

    And another point, my best TV is 1920*1080.
    It is why, I dont need 4K resolution.

    Why, I am coming here?
    It is perhaps for have best tips by specialist.
    It is the main fonction of a forum.

    For the answer :
    -a solo 4k + FBC(up to 8 different transponders/muxes) + scart adapter => ~480.- CHF
    -a duo 2 + Twin 2x DVB-C/T2 => ~350.- CHF

    And a question without response:
    vti+, openpli, etc. which one is the best image for doing something with U*P*C Ca*bl*eC*om.?

    Re: Best box for DVB-C in switzerland

    Yeah, you should really buy a recent TV and enjoy HD content rather than downscaled crap on your CRT TV, but that's off topic, I know...

    Even though Vu+ Solo/Uno 4K do support 4K decoding/displaying, they're primarily interesting for their FBC tuners, and a Vu+ Uno 4k would be much cheaper than a Solo 4k and yet more or less the same compared to a Vu+ Duo2.

    If you don't care about having more than two tuners, then sure, go for Duo2.

    And yeah, your question probably remained "without response" because you're being unfriendly while seeking help/advice...

    Any of those images is fine to decrypt UPC channels, but you should really go with either OpenPLi or BlackHole since they're the most advanced + reliable ones.

    Cheers

    Hello Mlmlte,
    thank you for yours answers.
    Yes, I understand, I am direct and my bad english show me like unfriendly guy.
    I assume.

    on VU+ Duo2 2x (2xDVB-C/T), I count 4 tuner, right?

    and for a price of 369.- CHF, do I continue to search more?

    Cheers

    Re: Best box for DVB-C in switzerland

    I think Vu+ Duo2 is only 2 tuners, if I'm not mistaken,

    Cheers
