    Play recorded file(.irm) in PC

    1. convert .irm file to .mvp file using attached program (IRM_Converter.exe)
    2. Play .mvp file with “VLC Media Player”
    A. “VLC Media Player” is freeware
    B. download at
    C. Now .mvp(converted file) can be played only with “VLC Media Player”, not “Window Media Player”
    3. If you want to play with “Window Media Player”, you must convert .mvp file to mpeg2 file using “VLC Media Player”
    A. Check “Stream/Save” option in “VLC Media Player” when you open file
    B. Set “Outputs -> File”, “MPEG PS” in “Setting” menu

    You can change your videos from DivX to MPEG in order to see them using your Mvision receiver, using free utilities, for example:

    1. Time Recording

    A. Main Menu -> Options -> Time Recording (you can reserve time for recording)
    B. EPG Menu (If you press ‘REC’ key, selected program will be reserved for recording)

    2. Pause Recording

    A. If you press ‘REC’ key while recording program, recording will be paused and you press ‘REC’ key again it will start again.
    B. It is available only when you watching live and recording at the same time (not available during timeshift mode)
    C. ‘Pause Icon’ will be displayed next to ‘Rec Icon’

    3. Main Menu -> Utility -> USB menu press ‘RED’ key

    A. SW Upgrade : only s/w upgrade (.upb file)
    B. S/W + USER DATA Upgrade : s/w + all user data(Channel, Switch, all settings) upgrade (.upb file)
    C. Bootloader + S/W Upgrade : s/w + all user data + bootloader upgrade (.upb file)
    D. Channel Data Upgrade : only channel data upgrade (.dat file)
    E. STB => USB : Firmware : All data will be saved into USB (.upb file will be created)
    F. STB => USB : Channel Data : channel data will be saved into USB (.dat file will be created)

    4. You can use above function like below

    A. Backup current all settings into USB using 3.(E) STB=>USB : Firmware
    B. If you lost some data, you can recover all data using 3.(B) S/W+USER DATA Upgrade
