    Hi,

    I can help you for the last questions.

    Difference between the different DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) systems.

    c stands for cable, this means that you have to rely on a cable provider which is transmitting you the signal to your residence;
    s stands for satellite, this means that you have to install an outdoor parabolic antenna commonly referred to as a satellite dish and a low-noise block downconverter
    t stands for terrestrial, this means that you need to install a standard television antenna. In fact you have two standards, the initial t-standard and the newer t2-standard. The t2 is replacing the t-standard in some countries, especially for the means of transmission of HD-Productions. Attention: t and t2 are not compatible. That means that you cannot get t-signals with a t2 receiver and vice-versa.

    Your receiver has to be defined in consequence. In your example that means that you can not use a DVB-S receiver to get DVB-C signals. But there exist receivers which offer the possibility to receive two or more of these different signals. You have to put attention on this by buying your receiver.

    This is depending on your country and your provider. In most cases the card is necessary to get all the packages of the provider. Also it is possible, if you have a receiver which is delivered by the provider, that you don't need a card.
