Univision takes news to social TV platform

The news division of US Hispanic network Univision has selected Graybo to produce and distribute a live news show across several major social channels.

JANIOT: PM, starring journalist Patricia Janiot, has been optimised for viewing on smartphones, using Grabyo Producer’s vertical video production capability. This will enable Univision to distribute the show to multiple platforms including Facebook Watch, Instagram TV (IGTV), Periscope on Twitter, the Univision News YouTube channel and UnivisionNoticias.com. It is the first-ever Spanish speaking news programme on Instagram TV in the US. Since the launch in January, the show has garnered over 1.5 million views.
