The first thing to do is save the downloaded firmware file on a USB flash disk.
Plug USB disk to the back of your receiver. It will be recognized by the receiver.

1. Before upgrade, do a Factory Reset:

* Go to TOOLS menu and click on Factory Settings
* Click Yes to continue. The receiver will go to factory default and restart.

2. Upgrade Firmware:

* Click on MENU and go to TOOLS menu again
* Scroll down to "Upgrade by USB"
* Click on START
* After the loading is completed, Accept the upgrade.
* The receiver will restart.

3. After upgrade, do another Factory Reset:

* Go to TOOLS menu and click on Factory Settings
* Click Yes to continue. The receiver will go to factory default and restart.

Hi! I downloaded this file onto a USB stick and used it on my Openbox S10 receiver to upgrade the firmware. Did a faactory default, then upgrade by USB. The firmware was flashed and then the box rebooted and says No Ch without any TV screen display. The remote does not do anything. The menu button does not work for me to bring up the Tools to do a dactory default. Can you please tell me what I should do now. The box was working fine before I did this. Thanks for your time. The abs file that was extracted out of the zip file C2DS2_S9-S12_120618.zip I downloaded, is named C2DS2_CMT_120620044F
