Lehmann - You can rely on me

Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has boasted that he can handle the pressure in big games.

Lehmann lost his place in the Arsenal side to Manuel Almunia through injury and after making a string of mistakes in the first few weeks of the season.

However, he was recalled six weeks ago after Almunia suffered an injury and has been far more consistent, keeping four clean sheets in six games.

Arsene Wenger faces a selection dilemma when Almunia returns to fitness but Lehmann believes he should be first-choice.

"When I'm under pressure in big games, you can rely on me," the German told The Mirror.

"I've played four or five games in a row, we will see how it goes on.

"With a goalless result, a keeper has not done much wrong."

Lehmann added: "In my case, I have to think from game to game. A draw against Milan was a little disappointing but we did not concede."
