Kangaroo 'will launch in June'

Kangaroo - the video on demand service being developed by the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 - will launch in June, according to a report.
The BBC has apparently asked internet advertising firm DoubleClick to organise a briefing with its clients on the commercial venture. Ad slots will be sold by ITV or Channel 4.
Kangaroo will run alongside each broadcaster's existing VoD service and programming will be either paid for or advertising funded. The BBC has said it will put shows on Kangaroo after their seven-day availability on its free iPlayer.
It is not yet clear whether or how the other services will link to Kangaroo.
A spokeswoman said BBC Worldwide would not comment on speculation.
