Redknapp targets United upset

Harry Redknapp insists Portsmouth can beat Manchester United in their FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday, live on Sky Sports 1.

Redknapp takes his Pompey side to Old Trafford in the hope they can upset the odds and clinch victory over The Red Devils.

Redknapp has never made it to an FA Cup final, or even a semi-final, and he is hoping this could be his year.

"We have got to be positive, that is what we are looking to do," Redknapp told Sky Sports News.

"They are a fantastic team but we have got great away form and have won games away from home, so we have got to be back at our best, but we are capable.

"They have got a great squad, he (Sir Alex Ferguson) could rotate a few - look at midweek, Paul Scholes didn't play and what a player he is, and so bringing him in does not weaken their team

"They are full of quality players, that is why they are going great in the league and still have a chance of the Champions League."

Euro belief

Redknapp does not feel that if Pompey go out of the FA Cup then their hopes of Europe are gone as he thinks there is still a real chance they could snatch a Uefa Cup place via the league.

"The league is still there for us," he insisted.

"Depending on what happens it is still a possibility, we have got good games left and we have a good chance."
