Good draws for United and Chelsea, Reds face Gunners
Liverpool will face Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, while Man Utd tackle Roma and Chelsea take on Fenerbahce.
The first meeting between Arsenal and Liverpool will be at Emirates with the return at Anfield.
Manchester United face Roma, who they have already played in this season's group stages.
The game is a repeat of last season's quarter-final draw when Sir Alex Ferguson's men romped past Roma 7-1 at Old Trafford in a memorable meeting.
The tie throws up fears of crowd trouble after last season's meeting in the Italian capital was marred by skirmishes between police and United fans.
The first leg will take place at the Stadio Olimpico with the return game at Old Trafford.
Chelsea have been handed a favourable tie after drawing Turkish champions Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce who are in the last eight for the first time welcome Chelsea to in Istanbul with Chelsea playing host to the Turks at Stamford Bridge in the second leg.
Sole German survivors Schalke will take on 2006 winners Barcelona.
The Budesliga club will entertain Barca in the first leg in Germany with Barca welcoming Schalke to Camp Nou for the second leg.
With the semi-final draw also being made, the eight remaining clubs now know their prospective paths to the final to be played in Moscow on 21st May
In the semi-final draw the winners of the Arsenal v Liverpool tie will face either Chelsea or Fenerbahce setting up a possible third semi-final in four years between Liverpool and Chelsea.
The winners of the Schalke v Barcelona tie will face Roma or Manchester United in the last four leaving United and Barcelona on collision course for an epic clash.
