Becks plays down LA exit
Former England skipper quashes MLS quit talk
David Beckham has quashed speculation he is unhappy in Los Angeles and is looking to quit LA Galaxy.
The former England captain is preparing for the start of the new MLS season and hoping to win his 100th cap for his county.
With speculation over his future mounting, the experienced midfielder was contacted by a worried team-mate who feared the 32-year-old could depart after less than a season on the West Coast.
However, Beckham has laughed off the talk, stating he and his family are settled in Los Angeles and that he has no plans to leave Galaxy.
"One of the guys texted me from the team, saying 'apparently you're leaving and you're really not happy'," said Beckham on Sky Sports News.
"Nothing could be further from the truth. I've said from the moment I've arrived everything's been great and that everybody's treated us so well.
"Not just on the football side of things, but the family side. The children are happy in school and Victoria is happy living in LA.
"No, I'm not going anywhere."
