AT&T, DISH Unveil Sales Efforts

On Wednesday, AT&T and DISH Network said they will offer the small dish service in nine states through the Southeast.

The service, part of the AT&T video portfolio known as AT&T Advanced TV, includes sales of programming, DVRs and receivers, and customer service. Packages start selling for $19.99 a month, with other offerings priced at $39.99 a month (DishDVR Advantage with America's Top 100) and $49.99 a month (DishDVR Advantage with America's Top 100), the companies said.

The announcement came after AT&T in December said it would drop sales of DIRECTV, giving DISH Network an exclusive lock on the telco's DBS sales efforts.
