Who's Now After Yahoo?
As of press time late Wednesday night, News Corp. was reportedly in discussions with Microsoft about a joint bid for Yahoo. And apparently Time Warner and its AOL unit are in some sort of deal with Yahoo to fend off the takeover attempt, stated news reports.
LEGISLATIVE - The National Association of Broadcasters and the Association for Maximum Service Television this week are running a print advertising campaign taking aim at the testing of unlicensed, personal-portable devices that utilize unused portions of television broadcast spectrum. The advertisements, citing broadcaster concerns about potential interference with TV signals from the devices, have ran in several Capitol Hill publications.
