Consumers Still Buying CE Products

According to data released Tuesday by the Consumer Electronics Association, the average U.S. household is spending about $1,400 annually on consumer electronics products.

"More than 50 percent of American homes already own a digital television and it looks like high definition, or HDTVs, have the potential to match that by the end of the year," said Chris Ely, CEA's senior analyst of market research. More on the study can be found in today's Retail BRIDGE.
