Disney sure on DTT

Disney's project to launch a free-to-air signal on Spain's DTT has been confirmed, with the channel due to start free-to-air transmissions on Spanish DTT on July 1.
Disney has four thematic channels on satellite pay-TV operator Sogecable's Digital+. These channels will maintain as they are now. Disney Channel will have the same content on its free-to-air version as in its pay-TV version (carried on Sogecable's Digital+, Telefónca's DSL operator Imagenio and cableoperator Ono).

Some months ago Disney signed an agreement with Spanish media group Vocento, owner of one of the main national newspapers, ABC, to replace Vocento's DTT music channel Fly Music with a new Disney signal. The new channel will be on air soon.
